Product Manager

As a product manager you are involved in managing and developing a distinctive market leading portfolio within the area of floor and wall tiles. You are responsible for ensuring the product line is up to date and in line with customer needs and MOSA strategy. You make it possible for Mosa to introduce new products while working in a dynamic, deadline driven environment

Responsibilities

In this dynamic and challenging role you are responsible for specific product line(s) strategy and roadmaps. You prepare business cases for product line extensions and new product development in the short and long term for your product line. As project lead you drive the product creation process and ensure timely planning and milestone delivery. Working closely with Category Management, Industrial Designers and Development Engineering you enjoy collaborating cross functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Marketing, your main task includes the following

• Product Line Management (product analysis, product proposition, PLC optimisation)
• Understanding user driven product needs and applying to product line
• Managing the product creation process for NPD in a timely manner
• Implementing product line phase in and phase out activities
• Regular Product line reporting, identifying and implementing corrective actions
• Participating in MIP process, product training and new material creation
• Initiating Product cost down, aftercare, quality improvement activities
• Maintaining competitor database per product line (pricing, product performance)
• Product expert and ambassador internally and externally

Your profile

To be eligible for the position, you must be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

• Bachelor in Business Economics, Business Management or Commercial Economics
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant international role
• Proven successes in product management and new product development
• Experience in managing cross functional project teams
• Sold analytical skills, reporting and root cause identification
• A good understanding of customer needs, market and competitor analysis
• Excellent organizational communication and writing skills, in Dutch and English
• Team player with a hands-on mentality, able to multi task and manage deadlines
• Collaborative, open communicator and transparent
