The organisation

Our home base is the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht, which is the central point of contact in Europe for After-Sales, caring for the needs of current and prospective Mercedes-Benz customers. Beyond this responsibility, we also steer and further develop the global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) of Mercedes-Benz for After-Sales and Sales. 1400 employees from 42 different countries add diversity and enrich an organization dedicated to driving customer satisfaction and high performance. Employees act as brand representatives ensuring that customers receive personal assistance in their own language at a consistently high level. The function

The role

The task of the BICC department is to provide transparency to the organization with regards to the performance and quality of our contact centers, agents, dealers, MOC’s vehicles and processes as well as the satisfaction of our customers with these products and services.

The BICC team consists of: Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, and Data Stewardship.

The Project Manager Officer (PMo) is part of the BICC team. The PMO is responsible to plan and develop the project idea. The PMO needs to create and lead the team, monitor project progress, set deadlines, solve issues that arise, manage money, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluate project performance, including the performance of the team members.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of the overall BICC Project portfolio within the team scope
  • maintenance of an integrated project roadmap for the BICC with all the initiatives and projects defined by BICC management.
  • Act as Project Manager of the project’s portfolio in the SAFe Program layer (currently only for the IT department, but in the future for the CCC Innovation network of the CAC)
  • Advice BICC management with regards to portfolio planning and resources
  • Manage dependencies between projects & initiatives
  • Assist the Product Manager and Product Owner in executing the BICC product portfolio
  • Support BICC leaders to initiate new projects
  • Ensuring the delivery of consistent project status reporting for all initiatives and projects managed within the BICC

Requirements

Who are you?

  • You have successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree(Msc.)
  • Strong stakeholder and expectation management skills in a medium/large organization
  • Excellent communication skills "verbal and non verbal"
  • Strong persuade abilities
  • You are a team player
  • You have the ability to handle conflicts in a diplomatic matter

Nice to have:

  • Scale Agile Framework® (SAFe®) is preferred
  • Agile Certified Practioner (ACP) is preferred
  • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation/Agile Practioner is a plus
  • ScrumMaster experience and qualification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies
  • Knowledge of how databases work and high-level architecture
  • Knowledge of Dimensional modeling architecture and Kimball methodology
  • Knowledge of OLAP, data integrity, ETL platforms, ODS, OLTP, schema, and bottom-up versus top-down designs is essential.
  • Knowledge of Data Management as well as Data governance in relation to legal compliance matter/regulations such as GDPR
