We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of epics, projects and programs that follow both classic waterfall and agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders (including higher Management), driving effective communication, and implementing robust project management methodologies to achieve desired outcomes
The Portfolio Manager is part of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team, which consists of one MPM and several Project Management Officers (PMO’s).
PMO is part of the “Digitalization and Project Management” team, which also includes the team of “Project Management” as well as "Change Management". “Digitalization and Project Management” belongs to the GSP/OC3 department, which has a global governance role for all Mercedes-Benz Customer Contact Centers (CCC's). As part of this governance role, GSP/OC3 is responsible for the implementation of new initiatives in these contact centers worldwide.
These initiatives can be initiated locally in the Mercedes-Benz CAC or by other Mercedes-Benz entities. Currently, initiatives are managed following a Waterfall methodology – however, with the ongoing Lean Agile Transformation, the Scaled Agile Framework will be adopted as well. The PMO department ensures that these initiatives are executed in a consistent, transparent and ,professional way.
The main role of the Portfolio Manager is to own and maintain the overall portfolio of initiatives, together with the strategic portfolio roadmap incl. milestones, dependencies, and risks. The main role of the Project Management Officers is to safeguard the planning, quality, and documentation of these projects as well as their respective resource management.

The salary range is between €4250 and €6000 gross per month for this position depending on experience.
