The organisation

Mercedes-Benz’s goal is to produce the world’s most desirable cars. The company focuses on the development, production and sales of luxury passenger cars, vans and vehicle-related services. The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) in Maastricht, Netherlands, is building and driving the luxury experience for our customers. The CAC is running a customer contact center for several European Markets; covering customer service requests, questions regarding our Mercedes-App family and retail support. Globally the CAC governs all processes and IT-systems for Mercedes-Benz’ customer contact centers in 54 locations around the world.

The OC3 department is driving the strategic direction of the processes, products and systems required to perform highly professional Customer Contact Centers globally (e.g. Product and Process Management, Training, and Quality Management).

The IT department provides the required IT ecosystem for all Mercedes-Benz Customer Contact Centers globally - 24/7, 365. We do work closely with our local/regional and global stakeholders in business and IT. We are using the most modern technology to drive our customer satisfaction.

The function

As the Management Assistant IT & OC3;

  • You will work closely with the CIO and General Manager OC3 and help them and their leadership teams to stay operationally afloat and 'running'.
  • You will be integrated into the leadership teams to ensure that you can become the ‘oil that keeps the 'machine' running & the 'glue' of our departments.
  • You will be responsible for regular management assistant tasks like communicating and coordinating with senior stakeholders across the globe, creating and responding to emails, managing the agenda/calendar, arranging meetings, travels and organizing town-halls, team workshops, and small events.
  • You will support by connecting the leadership team with cross-departmental tasks, like e.g. holiday plan, communication plan, meeting plan, annual calendar.
  • You will be supporting the department administration (e.g. organization and facilitation, visitors handling, travel claiming, validation of purchase orders, etc.)
  • You create presentations and internal communication on behalf of the assigned general managers. You participate in meetings, write meeting minutes and maintain contact with management of other departments.

You work closely together with three management assistants of the other general managers of the Board.

Requirements

Education:

  • You have finished your education on a bachelor level.

Experience / Skills

  • Dynamic & motivated, Confident & Fun to work with
  • Open minded and able and willing to learn and grow
  • Organizational expert that can handle multiple topics in parallel and coordinate very well while keeping everyone informed and aligned
  • Excellent skills in prioritizing, organizing and time management
  • Work independently, accurately and a strong service orientated mind
  • Clear & strong communication skills
  • Your English language skills are fluent or fluent, preferably also in Dutch and German
  • Tech savvy and able to use all common collaboration and communication tools (Outlook, MS teams, mobile apps, MS Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • On this level in the organization, you act with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
Specific Knowledge
  • Previous experience in Office Management or in a Management Assistant function would be a plus
