Beyond this responsibility, we also steer and further develop the global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) of Mercedes-Benz for After-Sales and Sales.

The function

The Junior Logistics Specialist Project Manager is part of Partner Network Management / Customer readiness and reports directly to the Manager or the project lead.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting work packages or projects within Aftersales Logistics (GSP/OD).

The job includes responsibility for overall project management within After Sales logistics. The project manager works in the Project Management Office and supports or steers defined work packages.

Being part of the GSP/O organization, the project manager will have to cooperate within an international project environment and align with a large variety of stakeholders within the Mercedes–Benz organization, the markets, and involved third parties.

Task & Responsibilities

• Steer work packages within the project
• Support transformation program management office
• Align within the overall program organization
• Manage changes in project scope, and schedule in a structured and consistent way
• Set-up of program structure
• Set-up of milestones, quality gates, meeting structure
• Manage interdependencies with other projects & initiatives
• Ensure constructive and well-prepared escalation to management when needed
• Establish and manage relationships with all project stakeholders (internal & external)
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation & administration
• Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Wholesale/Retail
• Ideally experience in Change Management
• Project Management Experience
• Good Communication skills and high intercultural competence
• Profound knowledge of the Aftersales Logistics processes
• Ability to interact with a large variety of stakeholders
• Advanced time management
• Analytical skills with regard to process optimization
• Ability to create innovative solutions to problems
• Solid organizational skills incl. attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the following languages English
• Experienced user of project management & time management software/tools
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• High Flexibility
• Enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural environment
• Willingness to learn and grow in a project management environment
• Willingness to travel
