The organisation

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is an international multicultural organization and an integrated part of Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales. In our offices in Maastricht we think and act globally and assume a leading role for the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centers all over the world. Our goal is to provide excellent assistance to our customers and dealers of well-known Daimler brands like Mercedes-Benz, AMG, smart, Setra and Mercedes me. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we ensure our customers’ mobility with our roadside assistance. Additionally, we take care of all kinds of enquiries about passenger cars, trucks and vans during our opening hours. For our customers we are maybe the most important connection to the Mercedes-Benz brand. That’s why we live the brand’s most important promise: “The best or nothing”.

The function

The main goal of the internship is to support the Service Manager and the Operations Managers Benelux/France in organizational development and continuous improvement efforts of the department, with a strong focus on internal communication processes.

Tasks / responsibilities:

Supporting the Service Manager in the following activities:

  • Development of new communication approaches and tools within the department, both on operational and management level.
  • Project support on further development of LiveChat service delivery for Dutch and Belgium customers.
  • Change management initiatives, specifically with the implementation of further continuous improvement efforts.
  • Act as a secretary of the Market Operations management: plan, organize and document meetings and follow-up on agreed actions
  • Store, maintain and control files and documentation.

Requirements

  • Ongoing university or vocational degree in Business Administration/International Business
  • Fluent in English (corporate language), both spoken and written
  • Business level in Dutch and/or French would be an advantage.
  • Analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Proactive attitude
  • Contact Center working experience would be an advantage

We offer

Interns are remunerated according to the CAC Intern's regulation.

Working hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

Duration: 6 months
