The function

The main goal of the internship is to support the Critical Parts Management department. As a Critical Parts Management team we take care that every customer in the world gets a delivery date for his Mercedes-Benz spare part. By being in close contact with several departments we have a central role in getting the customer back on the road.

Tasks:

  • Taking part in daily business in the Critical Parts Management department
  • Organizing, leading, preparing meetings and workshops, and sending out communications.
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint communication packs
  • Support specialists in currently ongoing high-paced projects and process optimizations
  • Generate process, project, and reporting ideas for improvement

Requirements

  • You are fluent in English (German is a big plus)
  • You think critically and work solution-oriented
  • You have solid communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • You think outside the box and develop creative solutions
  • You are a team player
  • You are experienced in creating professional/creative PowerPoint slides for different purposes
  • You have analytical thinking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Theoretical knowledge or a strong understanding of supply chain management is a plus
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote)

We offer

We offer you an internship in a multicultural, dynamic, and informal international working environment:

  • 6-12 months full-time internship or diploma/master thesis, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Internship compensation, € 800,- gross based on 40 hours per week.
