The organisation

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is an international multicultural organization and an integrated part of Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales. In our offices in Maastricht we think and act globally and assume a leading role for the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centers all over the world. Our goal is to provide excellent assistance to our customers and dealers of well-known Daimler brands like Mercedes-Benz, AMG, smart, Setra and Mercedes me. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we ensure our customers’ mobility with our roadside assistance. Additionally, we take care of all kinds of enquiries about passenger cars, trucks and vans during our opening hours. For our customers we are maybe the most important connection to the Mercedes-Benz brand. That’s why we live the brand’s most important promise: “The best or nothing”.

The function

As an intern working within the Critical Parts Management department, you will be working in the fields of project management, BI and administration.

The exact focus and tasks will also depend on your profile and the business requirements. Moreover, you will be able to bring forward your own ideas and initiatives.

Some tasks could be:

  • Administrative support in project-related tasks (planning meetings, documentation of status and progress, workshop preparation, meeting minutes)
  • Documentation of KPIs and reports (create structure and transparency within our reporting landscape)
  • Support in developing reporting solutions (Support in technical and / or conceptual / administrative way)
  • Run and distribute reports (Execute, test and send out reports)
  • Create and update presentations (Style & content, tell a story)
  • Do research on various topics and present findings (e.g. RPA, methodologies, best practices)

Requirements

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student, preferably with a business, BI or SCM background
  • You are fluent in English, both verbal and in writing (German is a plus but not mandatory)
  • You think critically and work solution oriented
  • You are eager to learn and fill knowledge / skill gaps
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You are a team player
  • You can work independently but at the same time you also align with other colleagues
  • You are interested in Supply Chain Processes
  • You are curious about data and have an analytical mindset
  • Very skilled in MO (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote)
  • Optional: fist experience in various BI fields and tools (e.g. SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, VBA)
