The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is an international multicultural organization and an integrated part of Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales. In our offices in Maastricht we think and act globally and assume a leading role for the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centers all over the world. Our goal is to provide excellent assistance to our customers and dealers of well-known Mercedes-Benz Group AG brands like Mercedes-Benz, AMG, smart and Mercedes me. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we ensure our customers’ mobility with our roadside assistance. Additionally, we take care of all kinds of enquiries about passenger cars and vans during our opening hours. For our customers we are maybe the most important connection to the Mercedes-Benz brand. The Communications Intern is part of the Project Management office (PMO) and SIRIUS Program Office team, which consists of a Multi-Project Manager, several Project Management Officers (PMO’s), a Senior Business Consultant, and several Interns.
“PMO and SIRIUS Program Office” is part of the “Digitalization and Project Management” team, which also includes the team of “Project Management”. “Digitalization and Project Management” belongs to the GSP/OC3 department, which has a global governance role for all Mercedes-Benz Customer Contact Centers. As part of this governance role GSP/OC3 is responsible for the implementation of new projects and initiatives in these contact centers worldwide.
Program SIRIUS is one of the biggest transformation programs of the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center that aims to replace the current CRM ecosystem with a new Salesforce-based ecosystem for CCCs globally. SIRIUS is a strategic initiative and contributes towards the new Mercedes-Benz strategy. It involves high stakeholder management, communication management, planning, and overseeing large-scale, strategic, and high-risk projects. Design, Delivery, Implementation, and Rollout of the new ecosystem is supported by Agile ways of working, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
The Internship Communication will support the communications within the SIRIUS Program. The internship will be focused around internal content creation. The emphasis will be on video-editing, photography and managing of internal social media communications. Knowledge of programs included in the Adobe Creative Suite is a must.
