The organisation
Our Customer Assistance Centre (CAC) in Maastricht (The Netherlands) looks after our Mercedes-Benz customers and Mercedes-Benz authorised dealerships from both inside and outside of Europe. Our passion is to drive customer service and quality to the next level because we know that happy customers make loyal customers. That's why we're seeking Italian-speaking Customer Service Representatives to join our Roadside Assistance Team in Maastricht.
Our office is located close to the beautiful Maas River and it is less than less than a 1.5km walk from Maastricht Train Station. The route is also well served by buses and cycle paths. There is free on-site parking. We have an on-site Barista and a lovely canteen which serves delicious breakfast and lunch options.
The function
As an Italian-speaking Customer Service Representative within our Roadside Assistance Team, in Maastricht, you will ensure that you offer a quality service and that our customers retain their passion for Mercedes-Benz. Your department is available 365 days per year, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day for all Mercedes-Benz customers in need of roadside assistance. You will answer inbound customer requests for roadside assistance in the customer's own language (Italian) and offer help on the phone or coordinate assistance through Mercedes-Benz authorized service providers.
What does a typical week look like?
- Answering incoming calls from customers requiring roadside assistance.
- Entering all notes and relevant information into our computer system.
- If an issue cannot be solved via telephone, you will contact the nearest Mercdes-Benz dealer who will send out a qualified technician.
- Following up the assistance request, taking ownership of the case and keeping the customer updated as much as possible.
- Ensuring that your customer is mobile again as swiftly as possible.
Requirements
Here in Maastricht, we are recruiting for an Italian-speaking Customer Service Representative with a passion for customer satisfaction. What do you bring?
- A minimum of two years of customer service experience.
- Fluent Italian (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and a good level of English (speaking, listening and reading) as all training will be conducted in English.
- A good understanding of Italian culture and geography
- An empathetic and friendly telephone manner combined with good active listening skills.
- IT literacy with experience using customer support software and CRM systems.
- Able to work in a shift pattern. You will work 2-3 night shifts and 1-2 weekend days in this four weeks planning. The shift pattern stays the same, so you exactly know for the future which days you will be free.
- Willing to relocate to within 40km of our office (brief details of the relocation package can be found in the ‘compensation’ section).
