Years of experience and our strong focus on customer centricity has given us expertise to steer and develop global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) around the world. We belong to the Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Service & Parts division and collaborate closely with other departments and divisions to create the best customer journey.

The function

As our Social Media Community Manager, based out of our Mercedes-Benz CAC in Maastricht, you will be kept busy observing and moderating Mercedes-Benz social media and the comments and responses from people. Day to day, we share our passion for the world of Mercedes-Benz alongside our 40+ million fans, whether it is a product inquiry, complaint, or simply a token of appreciation. Our Fans can engage with us via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and many more channels in 16 languages.

You will be monitoring the 'action and traction' from posts and responses. You'll develop a deep understanding of common themes, current trends and "likes" and "dislikes", to understand customers' interests and concerns, who they are, what they care about, and what they do. We support and engage with them via their 'virtual world'. Your success will be driven by your observational skills and attention to detail.

Alongside our international and regional Mercedes-Benz pages, we also cover specialist areas such as AMG-motorsport, lifestyle pages, or classic cars. As our new Italian-language Social Media Community Manager, you will become a chameleon by altering and adapting the tone of voice between each platform to engage our followers and generate social conversations in the way in which they would expect for that particular platform.

Requirements

Here at the Mercedes-Benz CAC, in Maastricht, we are recruiting for an Italian-language Social Media Community Manager with a passion for customer satisfaction. What do you bring?

  • Fluent written Italian language skills
  • You will also be able to communicate fluently with your teammates in English. All CAC training and business communication is carried out in English.
  • You are able to work weekends as well as regular weekdays (Tuesday to SaturdayorSunday to Thursday). Your fixed shift pattern will be determined by the needs of the business and team.
  • You are able to work late and earlyshifts (0830 to 1700 or 1230 to 2100). These shift times are done on a weekly roatation.
  • You will be customer focussed, tactful and creative
  • You are an intuitive user of social media and keep abreast of social media and online trends
  • Experience of social media community moderation is desirable but not essential. We are also interested to hear from candidates who have studied or worked in communications or similar.
  • You are available to work full-time (40 hours per week).
  • As we are situated in Maastricht (The Netherlands) and according to Dutch labour law, an EU ID/passport or a Dutch work permit (not EU, but specific for The Netherlands) is an absolute requirement to be allowed to work in The Netherlands.
