The organisation

Our home base is the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) Maastricht, which is the central point of contact in Europe for After-Sales, caring for the needs of current and prospective Mercedes-Benz customers. Beyond this responsibility, we also steer and further develop the global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) of Mercedes-Benz for After-Sales and Sales.

You will be part of the BICC team, a group of highly motivated professionals with the ambition to become the DATA INTELLIGENCE for the whole Mercedes-Benz CCC worldwide. The cross-functional team includes Business Intelligence (BI), advanced Business Analytics (BA), Data Science (DS), and data management (Data Steward) all focused on providing the business with information, tools, and technology to deliver the perfect customer value.

The function

Your tasks evolve around designing astonishing data visualizations with Power BI, which provide intuitively understandable dashboards and reports of business performance. Your reports and dashboards should give actionable insight into KPI’s, making them easy to understand, clear to view, and effective for data-driven stories. Thus, a good understanding of which information is most relevant to our users in line with the requirements provided by the Business Analysts is imperative.

The Business Intelligence developer is further involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, including Strategy, Road-Mapping, Architecture, and Implementation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field required

• Minimum 3 years of Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, and/or Analytical experience with Enterprise BI, Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, or other Data Warehouse environments, specifically in design, modification, and business reporting automation
• You are an excellent communicator and have data storytelling skills to transport analysis results into tangible stories with visuals that enable the users to gather the most critical information at a glance
• Experience in project scoping, process design, formal Business Analysis (CBAP) activities, and project management (Agile Scrum preferred)
• You have a (self-)learning attitude and are always eager to learn
• You are ambitious and strive to impress your colleagues with a state-of-the-art data platform
• You have a natural tendency to always think about what business value you are creating with your work
• You have a high enthusiasm, intuition, and curious nature
• You can work in an agile and fast-changing environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
