Our home base is the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) Maastricht, which is the central point of contact in Europe for After-Sales, caring for the needs of current and prospective Mercedes-Benz customers. Beyond this responsibility, we also steer and further develop the global Customer Contact Centers (CCC) of Mercedes-Benz for After-Sales and Sales.

You will be part of the BICC team, a group of highly motivated professionals with the ambition to become the DATA INTELLIGENCE for the whole Mercedes-Benz CCC worldwide. The cross-functional team includes Business Intelligence (BI), advance analytics (BA), Data Science (DS), and data management (Data Steward) all focused on providing the business with information, tools, and technologies to use to deliver the perfect customer value.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, build, and implement BI solutions
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications
• Describe technical and functional needs for the BI tools
• Implement standardized best practices
• Identify and flag problems
• Determine appropriate solutions in cooperation with senior specialists
• Consult and advise management in solutions and approaches specialists
• Safeguard the quality of the services and solutions delivered to our users
• Monitor the performance of the reporting environment
• Identify and flag problems
• Cooperatively determine appropriate solution steps with other specialists
• Coordinate process and system requirements coming from the business partners

QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Qlikview or similar)
• Basic knowledge of data warehouse (DW or DWH) architecture
• Basis knowledge of dimensional modeling (design and implementation, data modeling and data warehousing (SQL)
• Good understanding of data protection and access rights management principles
• Experience with data visualization
• Perform impact analysis on limited changes (e.g. impact of changes in a data module on a dashboard/report)
• Understanding complete set of specifications written by others and work with it
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• Have a basic understanding of the ETL process (including different layers - DIM/STOR etc)
• Knowledge in data mining and data analysis (SPSS & R) is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills
