Working activities
Before a new medical therapy is developed within Medtronic, it needs to be tested on patients through clinical studies before it can be marketed. In your job as a safety coordinator, you will be reporting and evaluating the side effects that participating patients experience to Medtronic. During your working day you can expect to perform the following tasks:

• Providing administrative support to the safety specialists 
• Working in a team and according to standard operating procedures 
• Updating overviews and systems (e.g. Excel and different databases) 
• Entering new and updated data in the databases 
• Checking whether the data is complete and understandable 
• Reporting printouts 
• Reporting side effects to internal departments of Medtronic 
• Joining meetings 
• Participating in workgroups 
• Archiving documents

Job requirements

To qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You at least have a MBO 4 degree (secondary vocational education)
• You have a minimum of 2 years working experience in an administrative role
• You are knowledgeable about healthcare and you are able to work with medical terminology
• You have a good command of the English language in speech and writing
• You have experience in working with Excel
• You are available for work for 40 hours per week
• You preferably live in the Maastricht area, for example in Sittard or Heerlen

The starting date is 1st December 2018.
