As YUFE Project coordinator R&I you are responsible for the UM internal organization of all research-related YUFE work packages and for the communication and coordination with the relevant Alliance partners. Also, you will be the Project lead at UM for YUFERING, a project under the umbrella of the YUFE Alliance with a focus on Open Science and Community Engaged Research.
In this new role, you will coordinate the participation of UM in various YUFE work packages that touch upon research, (post)doctoral training, Open Science and Community Engaged Research, thus creating an extensive YUFE network in the field of research at UM.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and goal-oriented individual with a hands-on mentality and flexibility to adapt in a fast-changing work environment. We are looking for a motivated self-starter equipped with excellent self-management, time-management and intercultural communication skills, to be part of the transformational initiative that Young Universities for the Future of Europe aims to be.
Fixed-term contract: 1 year with the possibility for an extension that matches the duration of the mentioned projects.
In addition to good primary terms of employment, UM also offers a nice package of secondary terms of employment. You can think of: flexible working hours, many days off (232 holiday hours per year with a full-time appointment and the possibility to work an extra 2 hours per week to have 96 extra holiday hours on an annual basis), a good pension scheme, the possibility of working from home and collective labor agreement á la carte.
