Will you become our new colleague teacher of digital and information literacy for students in the Faculty of Science & Engineering (FSE) and Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences (FHML)? In this position, you teach undergraduate and graduate students of FSE and FHML from the University Library (UB) how to find and properly use (digital) information sources. You teach students where to find the best sources, how to critically analyse them and how to use them correctly. You will also provide training in digital literacy: think about themes such as fake news and digital safety, and the use of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, ResearchRabbit) in relation to information literacy. You will work from the UB Skills & Academic Support team and collaborate closely with our digital literacy specialist. Next to that you will teach and develop teaching materials in coordination with your UB colleagues and the education program directors of FSE and FHML.
We are looking for you if you want to contribute to services for our students and teachers. You are open, proactive and can work well together in different teams. You are closely involved with the client and sensitive to the environment. In addition, you are analytical, results-oriented and are good at putting ideas into practice.
