As Data Analyst, you will be the internal consultant for and promoter of data-driven working and you will play a crucial role in stimulating data use and insights within our organisation. You will work closely together with your colleagues in marketing, who you will support in understanding and applying data in their work.
As part of the Marketing & Recruitment team, you will contribute to student recruitment at Maastricht University by mapping out the student journey and making it measurable. You must have a strong interest in data models and dashboards and be able to share such insights in an understandable manner within the organisation. In addition to providing advice, you will offer operational support to colleagues in the field of data management and data analysis. As the key user of our customer data platform and CRM, you will also act as the point of contact for other users. With your knowledge of data and data reporting, you will take the initiative in developing new marketing reports and optimising our data management.
This position falls under the central Department of Marketing & Communication, which jointly develops and carries out Maastricht University’s marketing and communication policy together with colleagues from the faculties. The Department comprises five teams, namely Corporate Communication, Editing, Marketing & Recruitment, Events and Digital Innovation. The Marketing & Recruitment team comprises 10 staff members of various nationalities.
Your profile:
It concerns an employment of 1.0 FTE for a definite period for 1 year, with the prospect of an employment contract for an indefinite period if functioning properly.
Salary is dependent on education and experience. The maximum gross monthly salary is € 4,670 in accordance with scale 10 CLA NU (with full-time appointment).
