International Service & Development Engineer

Hands-on, customer oriented, confident and willing to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will primarily have two assignments.

International service engineer:

• Install ands commission electronics manufacturing equipment worldwide on site. Extensive training in the installation, software, operation and maintenance of the equipment will take place at the original OEM’s in Taiwan and Slovenia.
• Coordinate with external parties the pre-acceptance testing of equipment at the OEM and subsequent installation and commissioning on site.
• Perform after sales trouble-shooting, scheduled maintenance, calibration and customer support in theory and practice. Developed technologies will need to be transferred to customers worldwide, in the near future to India, Brazil and Malaysia.
• Schedule and coordinate your own tasks and suppliers tasks in accordance with the planning.

Technical development engineer:

• Actively participate in the development process of new visual inspection machines based on artificial intelligence. As development engineer you are responsible for the mechanical design testing and debugging.
• You are personally involved and dedicated to the task on hand: pioneering and a strong work ethic should result in measurable output. Ample possibilities are available for future growth in a dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in a multi-lingual (NL, EN, DE) servicing, troubleshooting or engineering position in (multi-layer) ceramics or electronics production industry, or equivalent.
• Minimum education should be at bachelor level in mechanical and electronics engineering.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or Inventor software is required.
• An interest in materials processing and development is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
