For our business Advanced Glass Technologies (AGT) we are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our sales team within Europe, Middle East and Africa. Johnson Matthey Advanced Glass Technologies (AGT) is an autonomous business Unit, with an annual turnover of circa 70 million pound sterling. AGT produces high-tech semi-finished products and end products for the glass and ceramic industry. Our products are marketed all over the world and find their way into the automotive and glass industries. The head office of the Business Unit is based in Maastricht and production sites are located in the Netherlands, England, USA and various locations in Asia. Johnson Matthey AGT BV in Maastricht employs ± 200 employees. As an independent subsidiary of a dynamic, listed UK multinational, it combines the advantages of a multinational and medium-sized company.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for the technical customer contacts of JM AGT in our glass and ceramic division. You will be involved in preparing and delivering commercial and technical presentations, contracts, and proposals. You will be the linking pin between the customer and the technical and operational department of JM. With your expertise and knowledge of our products you will inform customers on product and market developments, translate the needs and specifications of our customer into technical requirements and assist in preparing solutions when there are problems. Additionally, you are looking for new business to broaden the market of JM in our glass and ceramic division, achieve personal targets and provide regular sales forecast for key customers and products. For this role our clients are located in Germany, Belgium and Holland, so travelling will be part of your job.

Excellent primary and secondary working conditions are obvious. Depending on your knowledge and experience, The salary is between 3150-4000 depending on knowledge and an annual bonus scheme up to 13% of basic salary. This is a global role for the Business Unit and offers the potential for future international career moves within Johnson Matthey.
