Looking for a challenging job within the Real Estate Investment Management Business:

Financial Controller Asset Management (40 hrs)

As Financial controller in our Asset Management team you will:

Assist both the Asset Managers as well as the Fund Managers with:

• Reviewing the monthly reports coming from the property managers:
  
  • Reviewing the profit and loss accounts
  • Assessing and follow-up of accounts receivable and accounts payable items
  • Ensuring correct financial reporting
  
  
• Reviewing liquidity requests from property managers
• Reviewing the service charge statements prepared by the property managers
• Verifying the fees charged by the property managers
• Collecting and assessing data for the purposes of VAT return at SPV level
• Guiding internal and external Audits
• Preparing – on a monthly/quarterly basis - budget-realization overviews at Fund Level
• Drafting performance calculations
• Reviewing invoices
• Preparing invoices with respect to interest forward funding
• Applying for possible Landlord tax retur

Profile and competences

The professionals working at Catella IM Benelux are demanding, tenacious and responsible. As the ideal candidate you:

• Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics
• Have at least 5 years of experience as a financial controller preferably in the Real Estate sector
• Have an experienced knowledge of reporting, internal control
• Have excellent analytical skills
• Have a helicopter view
• Have an excellent knowledge of Excel
• Speak and write fluently English (German is a pro)

Moreover:

• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage

Furthermore, as Catella has several offices outside of the Netherlands, you are willing and able to travel.
